What To Expect
God has a place for you where you can learn and grow in your relationship with Him. Come visit NLCC as often as you’d like. You’re always welcome! Allow the Holy Spirit to show you if this is the right church home for you. If it is, we’d love to welcome you into our church family. Our members are from all walks of life and at different places in their relationships with God. No matter what we do or where we’re from, we are hungry for more of God in our lives. You can always expect our message to be the Bible, our ministry to be relational, our methods to be practical and our music and praise to be passionate. We often have communion, water baptisms, child dedications and altar calls for prayer.
Weekly Meetings
Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:30 am
Wednesday Bible Studies at 7:00 pm
Security & Supportive Attendants
We have three main security people who have been trained to pray and watch for the safety and well-being of our congregation. They diligently communicate through walkie talkies and are willing and able to assist in any need that may arise in our foyer, sanctuary, in each of our classrooms and outdoors. All of our Ushers and Student Development teachers are well aware of times when we must team up to meet the needs of others.
Children’s Church
Please feel free to walk through our downstairs before church begins and show your children our classrooms. If you have any questions there will be teachers and their assistants who will be happy to introduce you to our curriculum. After our praise and worship on Sunday mornings, we will release children to follow their teachers downstairs and attend special song services, classrooms and sometimes outdoor games. On Wednesday nights, the children begin downstairs at 7:00 pm. Depending on your children’s ages, they will attend:
Woodland Critters: (18 months – 3 years)
Farm Friends: (4 years to Kindergarten)
Superkids: 1st-5th Grade
Youth
On Wednesday nights, our Middle School and High School students meet downstairs at 7:00 p m. Please feel free to come early and let us introduce your youth to Pastor Seth Thompson and ask any questions you may have.
